Dixie County Emergency Management is responsible for reducing the loss of life and property, as well as protecting our critical infrastructure from natural and man-made disasters. Dixie EM successfully accomplishes its mission through a comprehensive, risk-based emergency management program of mitigation,preparedness, response, and recovery.

In an effort to better protect our community's residents and visitors, we have developed this website to provide up-to-date emergency information and what steps you should take during an emergency. Additionally, there are links to family emergency preparedness activities and information on disaster training.
